Course #1:  Rethinking Retirement Income

Retirement planning is quickly evolving.  The conventional wisdom for creating retirement income is harder to deliver in the current economic environment.  The #1 fear for many is running out of money.  We discuss how and where annuities can be added to the income mix to provide a smoother outcome and more peace of mind.  We offer a detailed comparison of different annuity options to include: immediate annuities, longevity annuities and income riders.  We explore real world examples of when and how an annuity is a good fit solution to provide retirement income.  Attendees will receive our Selection Questionnaire and Roadmap Tools to easily determine if and which type of annuity should be considered for income planning.

Course #2:  Alternative Solutions to Long-Term Care Insurance

The number one exposure to a smooth retirement is the cost of long term care. Many advisors and their clients are concerned about purchasing traditional long term care coverage due to historical price increases and the possibility their money will be spent without the need for care. Today there are more ways to insure for long term care than ever.

We examine these options and compare and contrast them to traditional long term care insurance. Most importantly we arm you with the right questions to ask in order to determine which option(s) make sense to explore for your clients. Attendees will receive a pricing comparison that includes traditional LTCi, hybrids and life insurance with LTC/Chronic Illness Riders.

Course #3:  Estate Planning Uses of Life Insurance

Few people have exposure to estate taxes with today’s high federal estate tax laws. Life insurance is valuable in a number of situations even though there may be no tax to pay. We examine different financial applications where life insurance makes sense or is the most economical way to achieve the goal. Through a series of eight client case studies, we illustrate how using life insurance can create positive outcomes for a range of situations.
